Account Deletion Policy

How to delete an account and what happens afterward.

How to delete

Signed-in users can initiate permanent account deletion from Profile or Settings. The request deletes the MatchFox account and authentication identity after confirmation.

What is deleted

Account profile data, alerts, push tokens, and MatchFox subscription-entitlement records associated with the account are deleted. Some records may be retained or anonymized where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute purposes.

Subscriptions

Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions billed by Apple, Google, or another provider. Cancel those subscriptions through the relevant provider before deleting your account to prevent future renewal.

Effect and timing

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The app begins deletion immediately after authenticated confirmation. Provider backups and legally retained records may expire on their applicable retention schedules.
